SIR ROMEL JASON M. BAYANI
My passion in taekwondo started when I was 14 years old while attending as a sophomore in Claret School, Quezon City, Philippines. Sir Elmer Pato, Secretery General of the Philippine Taekwondo Association lead our Claret TKD team. Under Sir Elmer's training, I competed locally and eventually up to the national level including the prestigious Carlos Palanca, Sr. Championship which is a qualifying competition for the Philippine Team/Delegate for international competitions and for the Olympics.

Upon migrating here in California in 2000, I met Master Ayres, who took me in her ward to train and compete at the national level. Master Ayres' group was recognized 2005 No.1 competitor of Southern California in belt and weight division. She became my inspiration to train further and achieve my dream of owning a TKD school.

In July 5, 2011, the BAYANI TKD school opened its doors in Cathedral City, CA. The school is founded with the belief that through courtesy, integrity, perseverance, self-control and indomitable spirit, the true potential of a taekwondo student and enthusiast can be realized.

I dedicate the BAYANI TKD to my family, friends, masters, instructors, fellow jins, and the Taekwondo (TKD) community, who inspired and helped me build the school to teach and train future TKD jins
